My name is Perry Ives, I trained with Body Control Pilates in London who are regarded as the standard for safe and effective teaching of the highest quality. I know first hand the benefits of practising Pilates which is why I'm so passionate and dedicated to this form of exercise.

About Pi Pilates
I decided to try Pilates in early 2015. My back was in constant pain, I’d tried osteopaths, pain killers, injections, all of which helped but didn’t cure the problem. After much prompting from a close friend and teacher, and out of desperation I decided to commit to 20 Pilates lessons. At that time everyday activities were painful and completing a round of golf almost impossible, so much so that I contemplated giving it up. Practicing Pilates made such a difference to me that after redundancy in late 2016 I decided to become a Pilates Teacher to help others benefit from this method of physical and mental conditioning.
You don’t have to be injured or in pain to take up Pilates, unfortunately most people wait as I did before starting. In reality, it’s better to start Pilates and use it as a prevention to pain and injury rather than a cure.
